I can not tell you how many times I have seen and heard about people going to "beginner's" yoga classes and not being able to follow or do anything as well as feel embarrassed, uncomfortable and unsure of what to do - leave the class or pretend you are coping.
This class is a place for you to learn about yourself and what you can do. It's also a place to learn about yoga and what it can do for you. We will focus on body awareness but at the same time get our bodies moving to our limits. We will focus on enjoying the moment and about relaxing the mind. We will practice yoga nidra and try not to fall asleep but instead achieve conscious stillness.
